Post: Hello: When we were children we were all told that sticks and stones could break our bones but words could never hurt us. As it turns out this is not the case at all. Words are extremely powerful and one of the precepts of our faith points out that death and life reside in the tongue. What you say actually locates where you are mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, Matthew 12:34. And it is also true that we will find ourselves unable to rise above our own words. If we constantly speak fear, defeat, failure, anxiety, sickness and unbelief we will actually frame our own world by those words, and find ourselves living on that level far below our privilege in Christ Jesus. Neither we nor anyone else will ever live above the standard we set by our own conversation regardless of our advantages in life. Invariably if an individual’s conversation is foolish, impractical or confused his life will be the same way. Our words can paint a pretty clear picture of our inner selves. Proverbs 21:23 says Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. What a statement. How often we can look back over our lives and say amen to that one! How many times we wish we could have taken something back or just not been there in that moment, but the bible says that a word spoken is like an arrow spent, once it is released, the damage is done and no amount of apology or atonement, can really put things completely back like it was before. We know with our mouths confession can be made, and that can be a great thing...but it can also be a great negative...if our confession is bondage, weakness, sickness, lack or failure and any other thing that does not line up in agreement with the blessings of His grace. The enemy delights in leading us by our physical eyes but we are those who walk not by sight, but by faith in the Word of God. Our Father has said many specific and wonderful things about His Sons and Daughters and we have many entitlements in Him. We cannot look at our situations and circumstances through our natural eyes and then agree with the enemies assessment. We must allow our words to line up with His Word...until His Word and our word are one Word.........and our confession is His confession.......if our confession denies the reality of scripture we will go on in defeat........RISE........to the level of the Word ..... Post: Hello: You know at any given time people are either operating in the spiritual realm or the natural realm. God tells us to walk in the Spirit so that the flesh will have no dominion over us. The words that are flowing out of us are accurate indications of what has the dominion over us. Out of the abundance of the heart....the mouth speaks...Whatever we are affirming in our heart we are building into our inner man. The affirmation of a doubt is going to build unbelief and the affirmation of the Word of God is going to build Faith. We are constantly affirming something by our words and actions whether or not we even realize we are doing it. We have to decide to deliberately affirm the Word of God in everything that pertains to us. John 15:7 says, “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.” Many people affirm that their faith is in failure, disaster, trouble, sickness and lack by constantly confessing that as their outcome. If we are continually affirming bondage, captivity and lack we will have an abundance of it. Our very expectation will serve to bind us and lock us out of the blessing we are entitled to in Christ Jesus. These are strongholds we assist the enemy in creating within us and he does not hesitate to set up shop and deal torment. But the weapons of are warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds....The bible says the solution is to submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and then he will flee....We submit to God by coming into agreement with God about whatever God says......... I always tell people if you find yourself in a bad harvest field....sow your way out....Just start sowing good seed...Change your confession...We are going to reap whatever we have sown, but just start sowing something different immediately until that starts coming up. It may take awhile to see the new harvest, but it will come! Every sower has to be a little patient. The principle is seed...then time (for the seed to spring up and mature) then a harvest....but in time...if you sow....it will come up!! So start sowing now. You will need a harvest tomorrow. Remember every seed can only produce after it’s own kind. So be careful what you sow. Sow only what you want to harvest. If you are ready to change your confession....Look to the Word and simply say exactly what Jesus says. If you have you been in lack and poverty has been your master and you can’t seem to ever get ahead. If “can’t win for losing” has been your motto....realize that is not the lot for a son or daughter of God....Our confession is this.......The Lord is my Shepherd...I shall not want. We are blessed in the city and in the field...If you have been afraid and fear, anxiety, and worry has ruled you for as long as you can remember, then know that is not our Way in Christ either. Our confession is, “The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Our affirmations are not based on how we’d like things to be or on positive thinking or on philosophies devised by intellectuals, but on the divinely inspired Word of God and backed up by the full faith and credibility of our Creator. Jesus said heaven and earth shall pass away but my words shall not pass away....Matthew 24:35 Love and Blessings Pastor Randy

Post: Hello: We just finished up Freedomgate Bible Camp 2014, “Freely Give.......You be the drop that starts the ripple”....What a wonderful time in the Lord. We had about 96 young campers and the wind of God was definitely blowing gale force by the time we closed out Saturday night. It’s been a little while since my last blog, sorry about that. I have not been idle. Our theme camp verse was Mathew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely you have received, freely give.” One of the things the Lord is speaking to my spirit is that our mission is not about us. I think most Christians would agree in theory, but in actual fact, because the majority of the global church is living their daily lives mostly in the natural and not in the spirit they are inclined to ask themselves, what am I really getting out of this deal? A lot of our preaching, conferences, books and the like are geared toward affirming us and that may be fine up to a point. But remember this, our major goal is not to be affirmed, accepted, liked or honored in this world. We are already accepted in the beloved. Jesus said if they hated me...... Our identification originates in the cross. The cross is an instrument of death. Death is a vehicle of separation. We are to be separate from this world even though we are physically located here. Our mission is almost certain to separate us from the affirmation, from the love, from the appreciation, from the acceptance of men. Our goal is to lay down our lives here so we can save the world from the impending destruction of hell. We are certainly blessed in the city and in the field, both coming in and going out. We are the head and not the tail....but we are those things because we have been empowered to go and bring the wheat into the barn. Like our master.....to seek and save that which has been lost. Not because we are a big deal and deserve the recognition of men. What affirmation did Paul, Peter, James or Jesus for that matter get from this world..... The greatest preacher that ever lived, who also built the best ministry that ever was, who also trained and raised up the best disciples who were ever sent....was beaten beyond recognition, crowned with thorns and crucified on a cruel cross, while people spit and jeered and gambled for his clothes. So what kind of affirmation do you think you deserve for all the great things you are doing and have done? The disciples did not fare too well in their worldly reception either....seeing tradition reports all but one of them were martyred for the cause......and John the beloved was boiled in oil and exiled to an island penal colony for his efforts....so he was treated a little more gently. We are not the Yuppie church......although we are upwardly mobile....but we only get high by going very low.... Love and Blessings Pastor Randy

Post: Hello: One of the most valuable privileges of the blessing that we walk in is having the guidance of God at every turn of life. We must always remember that the guidance we have is spiritual. We have to understand that the Holy Spirit is not the only spirit out there trying to influence the thoughts and actions of men. 1 John 4:1 tells us to try the spirits to see whether or not they are of God. You may have noticed that people you know believed that they were being led of God right up to the point of their destruction. Some people are continually saying that God said this and God said that, but the fact is, they never get there, and the provision is never there. They have convinced themselves that every voice they hear or want to hear, is God. It is spiritual deception. The power of deception is, when you are deceived you do not know you are deceived. Remember we are not wrestling with flesh and blood, but invisible forces, principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places..... So what do we do? The first thing is we must truly be born again. The natural man, cannot understand the things of God for they are spiritually discerned. You must possess the Spirit of God to be guided by the Spirit of God. We must clearly realize we have no ability to decide for ourselves. Stop trying to reason. We lack the wisdom to navigate this world. His strength is made perfect only in our weakness. He cannot fill us when we are already full. We have to ask him with the attitude that whatever he says we are willing to do. Most people are not willing to ask with an open heart, because they already have conditions and ideas of their own. Your life is not your own or maybe it is. Well you have to give it up, if you really want access divine guidance. There has to be absolute surrender of your will, to operate in his divine will. Then we have to have a positive expectation that God is going to answer us and give us the direction we have asked for. It’s called faith. We don’t walk by sight. We walk by faith. And if he only reveals to us one step and not the entire destination......We have to start stepping. He will give us the next step when it’s time but we have to take the first step, first. Sometimes we don’t want to move until we can see the whole thing, until we know the outcome. That is not faith. That is sight. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord! Post: Hello: Divine revelation can take you to an entirely different elevation. Every human being has four basic needs, and these are not just desires, but these are absolute needs that only God can fill. These include the need for acceptance, identity, security and purpose. Now everyone is reaching to fulfill these needs subconsciously whether they realize it or not. Take identity for instance. It is the desire to want to be special and belong. It is amazing to me how many Christians I meet are in an absolute identity crisis. Herein lies the solution. You may try many avenues in life to find fulfillment and still come up completely empty. Many seek identification through friends, spouse, education, employer, parents, church, money, children, or a myriad of other things .......but all of these relationships have one thing in common, they are totally unpredictable. They may be good and positive things, but they are not what Christians were created to find their identity in. They are all much too limited to fulfill that purpose in your life. And whenever we are dependent on people or things to provide us what they have, we become empty when they run dry. That is why we must have a source that can never run dry. When it comes to our personal identity, we must never choose a job or a person or a lifestyle to identify with........they are much too limited to define who we are. We can only be completed by a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You would be amazed, or maybe not, how many people go through life trying to pull out of others what only God can provide and all they ever get is disappointed. Paul put it like this......For me to live is Christ....If you can realize your position in Christ you can change your condition in life. That means if you know who you are, there is POWER in that revelation to change your elevation in life.......... When the prodigal son, was in the worst season of his life, it was the revelation of his identity that brought him out. He was literally in a hog pen. He was in deep sin. He had wrecked every relationship he had. He had ripped it with everyone who loved him. But one day he remembered, He was his Fathers son. He said I will arise and go to my Father. He reasoned, at least he will treat me as well as a servant..........He underestimated the Father........but He had a revelation of his own identity that caused his conditions to change. And he started immediately down the road to prosperity. You can do the same. Stop limiting yourself, learn who you are in Christ. You are a Son or a Daughter of the Most High God!
